Absolutely, in an organization, collaboration is very important for doing any business. Sharing ideas and information is critical. Yes, Email can be better as a point-to-point means of communication or a one-to-many, but as a many-to-many tool it is more efficient for using blogs~~.
From research on the internet , I can’t believe that a big organization cannot benefit from org blogs.Org blogs can be used in many ways: to ask for help; to transfer information and to make conversation; and to bring new ideas that allow people to refine those ideas.Wow, wait…, one more thing I forgot which I just found today, the blogs also can be used to spread an organizational culture.
Matías Fernández Dutto stresses the advantages of org blog as follows:
1.It improves participation spirit, collaboration, and the capabilities of team learning.
2.It allows integrating conversations with a shared vision.
3.It becomes the written memory of the organization. Furthermore, writing conveys emotional stability which eventually promotes the process of organizational development.
The conversations in blogs can be open to the whole firm, and have their obvious results.
Till today, a huge problem is that a large number of companies are still not good at communication according to their own middle managers.
How to solve it?
Internal Blogs may be not a necessary tool , but I guess it is a useful and low-cost tool. Because blogs have a great way to pool all the information and make it accessible and, because it is so easy to add and update information, and the most important thing is that—it is free!
